These are two poster studies created for Tahanan Books, a small publishing company that strongly promotes readership among the youth and specializes in beautifully illustrated literature that capture the essence of Philippine culture, language and humor. Bahay Kubo (Translation: Grass Hut House) is the storybook version of a popular Filipino folk song. Melampus and the Snakes is part of the bilingual series they made which featured Greek myths written in both English and Filipino.
